MIAA woes continue for Lincoln men

Things started swimmingly for Lincoln.

The Blue Tigers took an early lead courtesy of a free throw from Cedric Ridle and a jumper from Terrell Williams, Missouri Southern coach Robert Corn took off his jacket out of frustration and called a timeout, and the Lincoln pep band was getting the capacity crowd riled up.

If only the next 39:17 of game time didn’t have to be played. It did and No. 23 Missouri Southern blew out Lincoln 90-64 Wednesday night at Jason Gym.

“There’s not a lot to say,” Lincoln coach John Redmond said. “We just still refuse to do what we’re supposed to do.”
