Civil War re-enactors to converge on Binder Lake

Broom-makers, blacksmiths, candlemakers, presidents, soldiers and wives — Binder Lake Park will flash back 150 years in May.

A Civil War re-enactment will be hosted for the fourth time by Collins Battery B in Jefferson City. This time, it will happen with public funding from the city and county.

On Tuesday evening, the Jefferson City Civil War Re-enactment Committee held its organizational meeting.
