The Legislature convenes Jan. 9, and representatives in the Missouri House have priorities they would like addressed during the 2013 session.

On his four-day, 20-city tour across Missouri in December, House Speaker Tim Jones, R-Eureka, highlighted economic development for job creation, a strong state energy policy, and education funding and reform as the Legislature's top priorities in 2013.

He said a separate issue involving economic development is tax credit reform. The items on the agenda are ones to cut, cap and create various tax credit programs.
