Jefferson City Lady Jays fall to Lee’s Summit West

Consistency is what the Jefferson City Lady Jays have been searching for all season.

Friday’s game against Lee’s Summit West proved to be a perfect example of the consistent style of basketball that continues to elude them.

Jefferson City fought back to take a 36-30 lead late in the third quarter, but was outscored 25-9 in the final 10 minutes and dropped a 55-45 decision in a consolation game in the State Farm Holiday Hoops Invitational at Rackers Fieldhouse.

On Friday, a strong middle part of the game was ultimately undone by a difficult start and finish.
