Mid-America Wireless bought by Red Skye

After 22 years in the wireless industry, Mid-America Wireless is selling its 10 AT&T authorized retailer locations to Red Skye Wireless, based in Maryland Heights.

Owner Gary Wilbers notified his staff Thursday morning of the sale, which is effective Dec. 31.

Mid-America Wireless opened its first location in Jefferson City in 1990.
