Volunteers spend holiday giving to others
Several dozen Mid-Missouri residents, some from as far as Gravois Mills, volunteered a portion of their Christmas Day to serve dinner at the Salvation Army Center of Hope.

About 100 people spent the Christmas holiday giving to others by volunteering with the Salvation Army for the organization’s annual Christmas dinner.
Maj. Kevin Cedervall said though the meal began at 11 a.m., deliveries to people’s homes began at 10:30 a.m.
“I’m amazed at how many deliveries we do each year,” he said.
