Elf missing, but Christmas magic still around

What began as a tragedy for a young boy has turned into a Christmas miracle.

Nine-year-old Calvin Guerrero visited Jefferson City with his family for his great-grandmother’s 100th birthday the weekend of Oct. 27.

During his visit from Yorkville, Ill., Calvin lost his stuffed elf, Edward, which he had treasured for much of his life.

Edward was no ordinary elf. He was a Christmas elf.
