Your Opinion: Evil at work

Dear Editor:

I feel compelled to express my concerns regarding the latest tragedy in Connecticut.

As human beings we want to blame someone or something when tragedies such as this occur. But I feel that we need to be looking at this from a different perspective. Instead of blaming mental health problems or lack of gun control we need to look for the real evil behind these tragedies.

The devil searches out those who are vulnerable and weak to use for his causes. He takes over these poor souls so that he can use them to do his will.

We have been so busy trying to be "politically correct" and not offend anyone's religious beliefs that we cease to think about the consequences of our actions. When you take God and country out of schools and public buildings then you are taking away the only protection that we have from evil.

The devil just loves to thumb his nose at us and say "Hey, you took God out of the schools so look what I can do now"

Why do you think that in the majority of cases the perpetrator either ends up killing himself or being killed by the police after the event has taken place? It is because the devil is through with them and chooses to dispose of them rather than letting them live.

Thank you for allowing me to express my concerns.
