New Bloomfield schools updating crisis plan

NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. — The R-3 Board of Education has decided to update the school’s crisis-management plan and provide intruder training for teachers.

Superintendent David Tramel said the Dec. 14 shooting in Connecticut prompted him to organize an effort to update the school’s crisis-management plan.

Tramel said key school personnel will be involved in an immediate effort to update the plan.
