Students disciplined after threats

Disciplinary measures have been taken against two Simonsen 9th Grade Center students, following threats they made to harm others this week.

David Luther, assistant to the superintendent, said he couldn’t address questions about who the students are or how administrators responded. But he did say they “made comments to the effect that they were going to do harm to others.”

“In situations like these, it is common for a student to be removed from the building,” Luther said.
