Woman sentenced in 2011 car chase

A Jefferson City woman was recently sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to charges in connection with a November 2011 car chase.

According to court records, Sunny Kingsley, 27, of 2612 Schott Road, was charged with resisting a lawful stop and driving with a suspended license.

Her sentence will run concurrent with all other sentences against her.

What is the deterrent in running sentences concurrently?If they are sentences resulting from seperate incedents they should run consecutivly to keep these people off the streets.Parole hearings should be held for each individual sentence and for probation as well.
