She grew up across the street from her grandparents and walked the half block to school or to the park.
Eve Campbell has lived her entire life in Russellville, just as several generations before her have done.
"I like living there, the smallness and the idea of a close community," Eve Campbell said.
Although her husband Jim moved to Russellville in his youth, he also can trace his ancestors several generations back in the community.
Jim's grandfather was the town's blacksmith. Campbell has a little forge and a few tools. His dream is to dabble at blacksmithing some day.
