Fatima pulls away to tourney title at Linn

Blair Oaks takes third

LINN, Mo. — A couple area basketball teams picked up some hardware Saturday in the Linn Tournament.

Fatima won the tournament title with a victory against Cuba, and Blair Oaks took down Dixon to take third place. Fatima pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 77-63 win.

Blair Oaks took home the third-place trophy with a 75-66 victory against Dixon.

In the first game of the night, host Linn defeated Boonville 58-52 in overtime to take fifth place.
