Alleged heroin supplier jailed

A Jefferson City man was being held in the Cole County Jail on $500,000 bond Friday after being arrested for allegedly supplying heroin.

Information from the Jefferson City Police Department shows Tracey Davis, 44, is believed to be a supplier of heroin that resulted in multiple overdoses.

Davis’ arrest is the result of a two-month long narcotics investigation into several recent heroin overdoses that occurred in Jefferson City and Columbia.

Davis, who is currently on probation for heroin distribution, has been charged with three counts of distribution of heroin.
