Chick-fil-A is heading to Jefferson City, with construction tentatively scheduled for late next summer.
At the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting Thursday, a replat request was approved for the property owned by Lowe's Home Centers, which will transfer 1.17 acres for the development of a Chick-fil-A at its property on Missouri Boulevard, near Wildwood Drive.
Gary Rouse with GBC Design, of Akron, Ohio, said the restaurant will be housed in a 4,900-square-foot building with 50 parking spaces and a double drive-thru.
