Man sentenced to 10 years after chase, assault of officers
Thursday, December 13, 2012
A Jefferson City man was sentenced Tuesday to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to six charges in connection with a vehicle and foot chase that left two Jefferson City police officers injured in June 2011.
Authorities initially said Jason Williams, 32, had identification that showed he was from Florida. But court documents showed he had a Jefferson City address of 720 Glendale Drive.
Williams was charged with two counts of assault on a law officer, two counts of resisting arrest along with one count of driving while intoxicated and one count of driving while revoked.

This guy gets 10 years in prison and nobody died. Another guy got seven years in prison for killing someone while he was driving drunk. Makes a lot of sense. NOT!
