Zonta Club seeking nominations

The Zonta Club of Jefferson City is accepting nominations for the annual Women of Achievement awards.

Applications are available at www.ZontaJCMO.org or from Bellezzo@aol.com. Deadline for submission is Jan. 7.

Nominations should include the woman’s name, address, telephone number and e-mail address along with several sentences stating why she should be considered for the award.

Nominees will be sent applications that will allow them to provide additional information about their professional and civic involvement. A panel of judges will select two award recipients from the nominees.

Up to 15 nominees will be recognized at the Yellow Rose Luncheon on May 7 at Capitol Plaza Hotel.

Proceeds from the luncheon support the Second Chance Scholarship Fund, which helps women obtain further education or training as they return to or seek advancement in the job market.
