Vacancies left on city boards, commissions

Jefferson City is seeking volunteers to fill vacancies on several boards and commissions.

MIchelle Gleba, communications manager with the city, said there is one vacancy on each of the following: Board of Adjustment, Cultural Arts Commission, Convention and Visitors Bureau Board and the Housing Authority Board. For the Board of Adjustment, Gleba said the city is looking for someone with a background in architecture, making it a more challenging spot to fill.

“We strongly encourage Jefferson City residents who have a particular expertise or simply an interest in any of the areas the boards and committees focus on to complete our volunteer profile application,” Gleba said.
