Jefferson City is seeking volunteers to fill vacancies on several boards and commissions.
MIchelle Gleba, communications manager with the city, said there is one vacancy on each of the following: Board of Adjustment, Cultural Arts Commission, Convention and Visitors Bureau Board and the Housing Authority Board. For the Board of Adjustment, Gleba said the city is looking for someone with a background in architecture, making it a more challenging spot to fill.
"We strongly encourage Jefferson City residents who have a particular expertise or simply an interest in any of the areas the boards and committees focus on to complete our volunteer profile application," Gleba said.
