Mixed results for Lincoln teams against Northeastern State

The spotlight’s on Lincoln basketball today.

The Blue Tigers host a televised doubleheader against Northeastern State at Jason Gym, with the women playing at 1:07 p.m. and the men tipping off at 3:07 p.m. on the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Network (Mediacom channel 22).

It’s also the home conference opener for Lincoln.

The Lincoln women are looking for their first MIAA victory after dropping a 79-62 decision to Nebraska-Kearney on Wednesday night in their league opener.

The Lincoln men look for their second straight win to open conference play, and their first winning streak since the 2008-09 season.
