Lady Jays get first win

SPRINGFIELD — Jefferson City picked up its first win of the season with a 68-60 win in overtime against Logan-Rogersville on Thursday in the Stephanie Phillips Classic.

The Lady Jays found themselves down by three at halftime and eight after three quarters. But Jefferson City outscored Logan-Rogersville 27-19 in the fourth quarter to force overtime. It was all Jefferson City in overtime as it won the period 10-2.
