Talent abounds for girls National Guard Shootout

There will be no lack of talent when it comes to the girls’ portion of the 2012 Missouri National Guard Shootout.

Three of the six teams in the Dec. 22 event at Fleming Fieldhouse are ranked in the most recent state basketball polls.

Hermann is ranked No. 1 in Class 3, California sits at No. 3 in that same class and Chamois is the No. 3 team in Class 1.

Chamois starts the event against New Bloomfield, California takes on South Callaway and Hermann faces Fatima.
