Meth possible cause of fire that killed 2 Mo. boys
Thursday, December 6, 2012
BUNKER, Mo. (AP) — Authorities in the southeast Missouri town of Bunker are trying to determine if a methamphetamine lab was the cause of a fire that killed two young brothers.
The blaze broke out in the early hours of Dec. 1, killing 2-year-old Charlie Piatt and his 3-month-old brother, J.J.
Reynolds County Sheriff Tom Volner said Thursday that authorities are looking for two men for questioning and suspect they have left the state. Volner says witnesses, including the mother of the children, believe a meth lab was the cause of the blaze.
Three other children in the home suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation and were treated at a hospital and released.

How terribly sad. But when I first heard the news report on this, I wondered if meth wasn't the culprit.

This is when the death penalty should be imposed. Those children never had a chance. Some don't deserve to live.
