COLUMBIA - The Missouri basketball team is in the midst of the "sandwich" portion of its schedule.

It played three of its toughest games in the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament last month in the Bahamas, defeating Stanford and Virginia Commonwealth, while losing to then-No. 2 Louisville. Later this month it will tangle with Illinois and UCLA.

For now, the Tigers continue the middle half of that sandwich with a home game at 7 p.m. today against Southeast Missouri State.
