Furious comeback lifts Blair Oaks past Camdenton

COLUMBIA — Blair Oaks found a way to win. Somehow.

Never mind the Falcons were playing their fourth game in seven days. Never mind they trailed the majority of the game. Never mind they allowed Camdenton’s Kullen Carlock to score 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting.

Somehow, some way, the Falcons grinded out a gutsy 56-53 victory against Camdenton on Sunday night in the final game of the Norm Stewart Classic at Columbia College.

“I definitely thought we showed a lot of character tonight, that’s for sure,” Blair Oaks coach Ryan Fick said. “Coming off an emotional tourney win (Saturday) against a rival (California), I thought this was definitely a perfect setup to have some letdown.”

Blair Oaks wouldn’t let that happen.
