Capitol Caroling among events on tap for schools

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Capitol Caroling, a joyous event presented by the Jefferson City High School and Simonsen Ninth Grade Center fine arts departments in the Missouri Capitol Rotunda.

The show, which includes traditional holiday numbers and special selections, will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.

The 2012 program will include performances by the Jefferson City High School Symphonic Band, High School Orchestra, Chorale, Simonsen Choirs and the JCHS Concert Choir. Seating in the rotunda is limited. Everyone attending should enter and exit through the south carriage doors only.
