Judges have ‘critical’ eye for some parade participants

And the winners of Saturday's Christmas Parade in Jefferson City were:
• High School Bands — Fatima’s Comet Pride Marching Band, 1st Place; Blair Oaks Marching Band, 2nd.
• Junior High Bands — Jefferson City Interparish Band.
• Commercial Floats — Central Bank, and Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab Center, tied for 1st Place; Community Health Center of Central Missouri, 2nd; Mac and Son Plumbing, 3rd.
• Noncommercial Floats — Calvary Lutheran High School, 1st Place; Jefferson City Elk’s Lodge No. 513, 2nd; Nichols Career Center FFA, 3rd.
But, how did they get to be winners in this year’s Jefferson City Jaycees Christmas Parade?
