DAVIS, Calif. (AP) - Chiney Ogwumike had a career high-tying 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, and No. 1 Stanford used a 17-2 run late in the first half to pull away for an 87-38 victory over UC Davis on Friday night.

Toni Kokenis added 11 points while Amber Orrange had six points and seven assists for the top-ranked Cardinal (7-0), who have won seven straight in what has become an annual matchup between these two non-conference opponents who also played in the first round of the NCAA tournament last season.

Ogwumike had 18 points and nine rebounds in that game but topped that in the first half when she had as many points (19) as the Aggies' entire team. Ogwumike finished with her 34th career double-double, reaching the milestone more than three minutes before halftime.

Sydnee Fipps scored 14 points for Davis (2-3).

NO. 10 CALIFORNIA 63, OLD DOMINION 47

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Layushia Clarendon scored 15 points and No. 10 California survived a scare in a very sloppy road debut.

Brittany Boyd added 11 points and Gennifer Brandon had nine points and 17 rebounds for the Golden Bears (6-0), who won despite committing 25 turnovers and missing 16 of 32 free throws.

Old Dominion (4-1), which opened with four wins for the first time since the 1998-99 season, trailed almost throughout, but pulled to 51-47 on a free throw by Galaisha Goodhope with 8:26 to play. Goodhope missed the second, but the Lady Monarchs maintained possession until Clarendon stole it for Cal.

The senior made a pair of free throws at the other end, sparking a game-ending 12-0 run.

Junior college transfer Shae Kelley led Old Dominion with 21 points and seven rebounds.

NO. 13 TEXAS 79, TEXAS A&M-CC 30

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Nneka Enemkpali tied a Texas record with her fifth consecutive double-double Friday and the No. 13 Longhorns stifled winless Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Enemkpali had 11 points, 18 rebounds and three blocks for Texas (5-0) and Imani McGee-Stafford scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Texas held Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to just 15 percent shooting for the game, allowing just nine field goals, and led 46-9 at halftime. The nine points tied a Texas record for the fewest allowed in a half.

Enemkpali's double-double streak ties the school mark set by Tiffany Jackson in 2006.

Janae Blount led the Islanders (0-8) with 14 points, seven rebounds and four steals. She was the only Islanders player to make more than one basket.
