A Jefferson City man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for pleading guilty to having intercourse and other sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl in September 2010.
Orlando Lejuan Sayles, 18, of 205 McKinley St., pleaded guilty to a charge of first-degree statutory sodomy. A charge of first-degree rape was dismissed.
Sayles originally was charged as a juvenile, then certified to be tried as an adult about a week after being accused of taking the girl into an apartment in the 300 block of East Dunklin Street.
