Lady Crusaders hope to use speed to their advantage

The lineup may not yet be written in stone, but you can be sure the Helias volleyball team will have two attributes no matter who’s on the floor — the Lady Crusaders will be fast and versatile.

Helias, which gets its season under way at 7:30 p.m. today at Sedalia Smith-Cotton, has a 13-player roster, and all 13 are going to contribute.

“Obviously we’re searching for that perfect lineup, but with this group, we’ve got a lot of versatile kids who can play various positions,” Helias coach David Harris said. “I think what might be the best lineup one night may ....
