Owners: Firehouse Subs’ growth has been red hot

A new firehouse-themed sub shop opened Wednesday, offering 10 different subs in addition to salads, soups and chili.

“We have extremely high-quality meats and cheeses. We toast our bread and steam our meat to create the best taste,” said Mike Demico, Jefferson City business franchise manager of Firehouse Subs.

Flaming Foods, doing business as Firehouse Subs at 2103 Missouri Blvd., was one of 45 businesses getting a business license in July.
