Homeowners interrupt two burglaries

Authorities think burglars had hoped to catch a couple homeowners off guard by breaking in when they thought no one was home. But, it was the burglars who were surprised when they found they weren’t at the home alone.

“It doesn’t appear we’re seeing suspects being more brazen on how they get into a home,” said Cole County Sheriff’s Department Capt. John Wheeler. “It’s just that they’re thinking nobody will be at home at the time they are going to commit this crime. They think these folks will be at work.”

Shotgun blast in the face would really surprise the burglers.

Lifer you hit my funny bone. Can hardly type due to laughing so hard but ya. I do believe a shotgun blast to the face would do the trick.
