City sees interest in app contest

Jefferson City’s first mobile app contest is nearing the deadline, and the city has seen some interest expressed.

In April, the city announced its first mobile app contest, looking for a “Jefferson City centric” free app that must be available on iTunes or the Android marketplace by Sept. 28.
