Parks and Rec gives go-ahead to neighborhood park work

The Jefferson City Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department will fulfill its commitment made during annexation meetings to provide playground equipment and safety surfacing to the Southridge-Rolling Hills Neighborhood Park.

The Parks and Recreation Commission Tuesday awarded nearly $70,000 to Cunningham and Associates to fulfill the work.
