Newcomers shine as Missouri men win Tour opener

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands - The Missouri men's basketball team got plenty of help from its newcomers to get its 2012 European Tour off to a good start Friday.

The Tigers got 17 points apiece from Earnest Ross and Keion Bell while racking up an 87-64 win over Rotterdam.

Two other fresh faces also scored in double figures, as Tony Criswell chipped in with 15 points and Jabari Brown had 12.

"I thought the guys played well considering all but two haven't been in a college-game situation for a year," Missouri coach Frank Haith said. "I thought we were active and kept them from getting into much of a rhythm.
