The Jefferson City Council will meet at 3 p.m. today to discuss an e-mail City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus sent to staff that sparked controversy over Proposition 2 and city funding.
The meeting will include a 30-minute period for public comment, with individuals limited to speaking for no more than two minutes.
The meeting also will include a presentation from city attorney Drew Hilpert before the council has the opportunity to go into closed session to discuss personnel.

The only thing wrong this guy possibly did is the same thing the Romney aid did...they both told the truth. And in both cases what was said...made Romeny look like a fool concerning health care and the JC Council look like they were trying to use the fire fighters tax increase for something other than what it was intended for....in the short JC Council and Romeny got caught lying.
Romeny and his team are PO'ed because the truth may cost them a few votes and the JC Council members are finding it uncomfortably hard to show their faces in the local community. In fact the JC Council may find it very hard to make anyone....especially me believe that firing "Nathan Nickolaus" is anyhting but revenge for him blowing the whistle on their attempt at diverting funds. The current action by the council is shameful and if I was Nathan...I'd get me a good lawyer...especially since the City Coucil looke d the other way on a real danger and public hazard....Steve Rasmussen...the medicated drunk guy. Mr. Rasmussen was/is a publlic safety hazard....I don't remember this many City Council members calling for his head. In fact I kinda recall them stone walling saying they had no authority to take action for his DWI issues......and he even caused property damage and certainly pul lives at risk. So City Council...what gives now?

They are trying to make him the scape-goat. He has done more in the last month or two that Rassmussen did ever. Period.

I understand that blue is your favorite kool aid but at least try to have some kind of self dignity and principle.

Spelchek...wannna tell me why I'm wrong or are ya just gonna sling mud? Now don't get me wrong...my opinion is my opinion, but...if it's wrong 'mI big enough to admit it... However until there's something that proves different.my statements stand and..DUDE/LADY... I see you as part of JOKE that's supporting the Ohio voting situation.,
