SEATTLE (AP) - Eddie Johnson scored just five minutes into the game for his team-leading 10th goal of the season, and Seattle teammates Fredy Montero, Alex Caskey and Andy Rose added second-half tallies for the Sounders in a 4-0 victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy played before over 60,000 fans on Sunday night.

The Sounders (10-5-7, 37 points) won their second straight game and extended their unbeaten streak to four games (3-0-1) before a Major League Soccer season-high crowd of 60,908.

The Galaxy (10-11-3, 33 points) had a two-game winning streak and five-game unbeaten streak (4-0-1) snapped.

Sounders goalkeeper Michael Gspurning picked up his fourth shutout of the season.

TIMBERS 1, FC DALLAS 1

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Jack Jewsbury scored on a volley in the 71st minute to lift Portland into the draw that snapped its five-game losing streak.

Scott Sealy scored for Dallas (5-11-8) off a cross from Brek Shea in the 51st minute of the matchup between the bottom two teams in the Western Conference.

The Timbers (5-12-5) outshot Dallas 19-8, and maintained their aggressiveness down the stretch with temperatures in the mid-90s.
