Rev. Stephen Buchholz set to step down from the pulpit

Cleaning out his bookcases and drawers in the office he has called his “closet” for 30 years, the Rev. Stephen Buchholz said it has been nostalgic.

The collection of books, papers and items is indicative to his German background.

The grandson of a German immigrant and reared in a German-influenced church, Buchholz said those ethnic influences have made for a compatible experience at Central United Church of Christ.
