Missouri opens practice today

The seemingly never ending wait for Missouri’s inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference is finally over. Sort of.

The Missouri football team opens practice today in Columbia in preparation for the 2012 season.

The Tigers will hold 21 practices and three scrimmages during the next three weeks. Missouri closes preseason camp Aug. 23 and opens the regular season Sept. 1 with a home game against Southeastern Louisiana.
