Lincoln University is getting $1 million to establish the Central Missouri Innovation Campus.
Gov. Jay Nixon announced the $9 million Innovation Campus program last January, citing successes with a pilot program at the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg.
The program will "prepare students for careers in high-demand fields while cutting the time it takes to earn a degree, thus reducing student debt," Nixon said Wednesday.
