JCPD seeking robbery suspects

At 2:36 p.m. Wednesday, Jefferson City police officers responded to the 200 block of Olive St. in response to an armed robbery that had just occurred.

The victim, a 68 year old Jefferson City resident, told officers two black males in their early 20’s entered his home and robbed him at gunpoint. When they left, they took a weapon, the victim’s money and left the area in the victim’s car.

The vehicle was located by officers, still running and unoccupied, in the 700 block of Wall Way several minutes later.

The victim was not injured during the incident.

The investigation is continuing at this time.

Conceal and Carry is just about mandatory around here.

Thank God the victim was not injured. I hope they catch these clowns and throw the book at them. Better yet, maybe there will be a shootout with the police and we won't have to put them in prison.

The crime in this area is totally out of control.
