Resonno among several Tigers to ink NFL deals

Former Jefferson City Jay and Missouri Tiger Terrell Resonno has a chance to continue his football career on Sundays.

The defensive tackle signed a free-agent deal with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Resonno - a 2007 Jefferson City High School graduate - played in 52 games for the Tigers and recorded 80 tackles from 2008-11. He started 26 games.

Several other former Tigers also signed free-agent contracts according to NFL.com.

Offensive players who signed contracts include offensive linemen Austin Wuebbels, Dan Hoch, Beau Brinkley, Wes Kemp, Jerrell Jackson and Grant Ressel.

On the defensive side of the ball, Dominique Hamilton and Jacquies Smith signed.
