Helias soccer back on winning track

WARRENSBURG — Tiffany Weaver scored twice Monday night to lead the Helias Lady Crusaders in a 4-1 victory over the Warrensburg Lady Tigers.

Courtney Lock and Jordan Poire also scored for the Lady Crusaders. Taylor Hagenhoff had two assists, while Lexi Melcher and Weaver had one each.

Helias (13-4-2, ranked No. 3 in Class 2) will be back in action Wednesday against Jefferson City at 179 Soccer Park. The JV game will start at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity contest around 6:45 p.m. It will also be Senior Night for Helias.
