Jays take first at track event

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — The Jefferson City Jays won the Lee’s Summit Invitational for the first time in four years, racking up 121 points to beat the 10-team field.

The Jays captured five first-place finishes in the event — three individual events and two relays.
