March for Babies slated Sunday

Hundreds of families and business leaders are expected Sunday for the March of Dimes annual March for Babies at Memorial Park.

This year’s Jefferson City Ambassador Family is the Feltrop Family. Lisa and Troy were so excited to become parents and were looking forward to starting their family. At 31 weeks, Lisa delivered Kyle 9 weeks early. Kyle spend 5 1/2 weeks in the newborn intensive care unit before going home. Today, Kyle is a vibrant 12-year-old boy, and the Feltrop family is dedicated to making sure other parents have the same happy ending.

The Feltrops are joined by Sally Moore and Donna English, the Jefferson City March for Babies co-chairwomen.

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. with the walk kicking off at 1:30 p.m. Participation in March for Babies will provide a memorable and rewarding day for the whole family.
