Lighthouse Preparatory Academy plans dinner theater
Saturday, April 28, 2012
Lighthouse Preparatory Academy will perform “Uncle Phil’s Diner,” a dinner theater, on May 3-4 in Jefferson City.
Set in a 1950s diner, the plot centers on Uncle Phil and his wait staff as they eagerly anticipate the arrival of the evening’s entertainment — a band called The Desotos. As it becomes increasingly apparent that the Desotos may never show up, the waiters and deejay attempt to keep the audience entertained. This is a fun interactive dinner theater, and appropriate for all ages.
The performances will be held at the Capital West Christian Church event center located at 1315 Fairgrounds Road. A 1950s diner-style meal will be served during both performances at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $10. A limited number are on sale now by calling Lighthouse Preparatory Academy at (573) 645-5253.
