JC man sentenced to prison for enticing a child

Cole County Judge Dan Green recently sentenced a Jefferson City man to five years in prison for admitting to sending sexually explicit text messages to a girl younger than 14 and arranging to meet her.

David Linnenbrink, 44, of 307 Tanner Bridge Court, was charged with enticement of a child.

A probable cause statement from the Jefferson City Police Department shows Linnenbrink started sending the text messages to the girl in late September 2011. Linnenbrink even told the girl he would pay her if she would allow him to have sex with her.

In a separate case, Judge Green placed a California, Mo., woman on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to stealing a controlled substance from a client while working as a home health care nurse.

Tammera Bland, 37, was charged with stealing hydrocodone pills in December 2010.
