I-64 section in St. Louis to close over weekend
Friday, April 27, 2012
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A short but busy section of Interstate 64 in downtown St. Louis will be closed most of this weekend, but accommodations are being made for sports events.
Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be resurfacing a bridge deck, so westbound lanes between Broadway and 21st Street are scheduled to be closed until early Monday.
However, one westbound lane of I-64 will open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday for fans driving to Busch Stadium for the Cardinals' games with Milwaukee.
MoDOT also plans to open one westbound lane two hours before Saturday night's Blues playoff game.
