This reminds me of the movie "The Great Outdoors" (which I just watched last night, how weird is that?) where John Candy takes the challenge of eating the Old 96'er -- a Paul Bunyan 96 oz. blue ox steak. He does it (fat, gristle and all), only to upchuck it when they get back to the cabin and discover that the raccoons had strewn garbage all over the floor, and Dan Aykroyd exclaims, "Look at the maggots on that meat!" LOL
