LU awarded $15,000 EPA grant

Lincoln University will accept a $15,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency at 4 p.m. today at the South Campus Building, 900 Leslie Blvd.
The grant will provide training for high school and college students interested in water quality careers.
A Water Boot Camp will be held July 23-27, where students will become familiar with the essential concepts of water quality, treatment, and the operations and responsibilities of water utilities and professionals who are charged with providing clean, safe, potable water.
