The Linn Wildcats were the lone area team to capture a district golf tournament title Wednesday.

Playing in Rolla, Linn had all five of its players earn all-district honors as the Wildcats totaled 309 as a team to top an eight-team field in the Class 1 District 2 Tournament.

The Helias Crusaders advanced two players to sectional competition out of the Class 3 District 5 Tournament at Marshfield.

The Jefferson City Jays finished ninth as a team in the Class 4 District 5 Tournament at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.

The New Bloomfield Wildcats finished fourth as a team in the Class 1 District 3 Tournament in Boonville.

The Tipton Cardinals were third in the Class 1 District 6 Tournament at Versailles.
